Marty, tall robot assistants known for their googly eyes, are used at grocery stores, hotels, and warehouses in Northwest states. Their job is to spot garbage, accidental spills and to keep businesses tidy. And they usually stay indoors. But not this Marty. It was seen trying to escape a Giant Food Store in Pennsylvania. Elderly Woman Falls Down While Delivering Domino’s Pizza (This one is sad)
A 72-year-old great-grandma making a delivery for Domino’s pizza fell down as she approached a front porch. The concerned homeowner was shocked to find the woman on the ground. Barbara Gillespie says she took the job with Domino’s because she needed the money. Homeowner Lacey Keighron and her husband knew they needed to do something. They raised more than $234,000 for the elderly woman. Gillespie says she can finally retire.
Exterminator Finds Thousands of Acorns Behind Wall of House
A California exterminator discovered thousands of acorns flowing out of the wall of a house in Santa Rosa. A real-life Woody the Woodpecker hoarded more than 700 pounds of acorns into the wall of a house. The exterminator actually saw the woodpecker trying to put more acorns in the chimney stack in the house. Woodpeckers are the ultimate stockpilers. They can hide 50,000 acorns in a single tree.
