American went to a doctor
She had to get 3 bloodwork tests done. The cost with insurance was going to be roughly $890
She doesn’t have insurance, so the doctor just charged her the price Labcorp pays
For the 3 tests it’s $13

Yup. Paid $91 for bloodwork at an office that doesn’t do insurance. Next time they sent an order to a blood lab so I could use my insurance. Insurance sent me a bill for $89. When I wrote to BCBS asking what’s the point of paying $600/mo to save only $2, this is what I got

- Insurance middlemen. Why? Two words: Covid. Corruption. Further words. I don’t trust the f-cking medical insurance and health care industry post Covid. I loathe them with every fiber of my being. They could care less about you. L
- And I’m sure there are Democrats who are making a fortune with that jacked up price…. as they do with all forced BS by the government. The Democrat Party is a virus on this nation – Mal Antoni
- Now imagine if you get forced to use insurance where they turn around and force you to pay extra…. this is happening all over America, when the folks can easily just pay the cash price. Insurance is one big Democrat scam. – Sgt Pat, Whatfinger News
- Had the same thing happen with prescriptions. We all heard of Paxlovid by now. Well, my husband and son both had COVID 2 weeks ago. Doctor called in Paxlovid and other stuff for both. I went to pick it up. Husband has insurance and they charged his insurance just shy of $2,300 (his portion would have been $30). Our son has no insurance and his was $1446.78. I refused both because I knew neither would take it. Grabbed just the cough medication and asked for a copy of the printout with the side effects and cost on. How is this possible? – LGR
- We’ve always known insurance companies were scum. I blame Americans for letting it happen. If everyone dropped their insurance, you’d see change. But people will not do that. They’ll complain but obediently keep paying the ridiculous premiums, deductibles, and bills. – Mitz
