“Wildfire” was a hauntingly sad song about a girl who loved her pony so much, she died in a blizzard searching for him. There was nothing “weird” about it. Heartless much? WTF??!!
- None of these songs were weird. I was a teen in the 70s. All of those songs were about reality and allowed people to feel emotions without anyone judging. We could recognize fun, faith, happiness, silliness, death, loss, sadness, and romance. It was okay to be goofy, to enjoy that, and nobody got offended or judgemental about any of it. People could interact, disagree, talk about anything, and get along. We could a lot more of that acceptance of each other these days.
