Antifa Bullies Book Store Into Removing Andy Ngo’s Book; Still Sells 60+ Versions of Mein Kampf
Iconic Portland book store Powell’s Books has now become the focal point of the antifa terrorists.
His book, Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy, will be published by Hachette on Feb. 21.
The thugs showed up to protest the store for carrying Andy Ngo’s book.
Last weekend, local activists launched an online campaign to ask Powell to abandon the book.
Powell responded that it was not manual selection of books, but automatically provided by publisher Hachette.
In response to the outcry from customers, Powell Books announced on Monday that it would not sell books by Andy Ngo, a conservative expert criticizing Portland’s anti-fascism in stores, but would continue to sell them online.
Somehow the book store is now all of a sudden of a hub of evil fascists.
On Monday afternoon, dozens of people protested at the front door of Powell’s City of Books on West Burnside Street.
They appear to be closing the store. They have evacuated the customers inside out a back entrance.
Powell responded that it was not manual selection of books, but automatically provided by publisher Hachette.
Others criticized Powell for succumbing to pressure and asking it to stock which books.
Ironically, Powell’s still sells over 60+ version of Mein Kampf on their website.
