When I was about 13 years old my parents took me to a doctor and they said I needed to take Ritalin or I would “fail out of school and end up in a gang.” This was forced on me by everyone. The doctors, my parents, and the school. Thankfully, my parents didn’t have insurance so I just flushed the pills and told them I’d continue to do so. They stopped getting it.
