Appreciate Nick walking it back a bit and giving Homan room to work. But let’s be real: illegal entry is a crime under federal law (8 U.S.C. § 1325). Calling someone a ‘non-criminal illegal’ is just word games to slow enforcement. If this hold in MN is truly temporary for negotiations with Walz/Frey, fine—show results fast. Otherwise it looks like another round of catch-and-release with extra steps. We voted for deportations, not deals that leave the border optional. – TWC
