- My wife and I bought the top of the line Tempur-Pedic cloud matress for a wedding gift for ourselves. It’s been almost 10 years and not a single matress in the entire world gives me as much comfort as laying down in our bed. Costco memory foam isn’t even close. Nothing has ever been close. mrt

- I owned a mattress business and have sold thousands of mattresses. Almost all of the foam is shipped from oversees, glued together with different densities, wrapped up with cheap fabric, and sold for greater margins than used cars. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. DE
- Tempur-Pedic, the brand, has been sold many times over and they are no where near the original quality 30 years, 40 years ago. Still have mine and would never buy a new one and their gimmick variations. It use to be one style and that’s all you needed. Scam. BSR

- Devils Advocate: i’ve owned every type of mattress you can possibly think of. From the kinds with stains all over them that you get for free, to the cheap Sam’s Club special, and then the hybrid in-between. I now have a $4000 mattress. The difference is noticeable. And although it probably is just a bunch of memory foam stacked on top of each other like that. It’s all about the type of memory foam. And my mattress definitely seems to be better quality than a lot of things I’ve had in the past. All that said, a $300 mattress will do just fine – Adams AR
