- If safety is the standard, then it has to apply across the board. Reading road signs in English isn’t optional in the U.S, it’s basic for public safety. If the administration, under Donald Trump, is enforcing existing CDL requirements more strictly, that’s about compliance and accountability, not politics. An 80,000-pound truck doesn’t care about ideology, only competence. Keep the roads safe. C

- There are still tens of thousands more out here. I see it every day you got a long way to go! Plus, the drivers are just not qualified because they weren’t trained well it seems schools they only care about your money and putting in your truck in a week. I’ve been doing this 3 1/2 decades it’s never been as dangerous the quality of truck drivers has gone down every single year. – David Murray
- Prison time for every person involved in this scam to murder Americans on our roads starting with the fake truck companies and including any company who knowingly hired these unqualified drivers.
- Just drove 4 hours on I80 in Nebraska. I looked at the drivers of these big rigs as we passed them. At least half of all semis we passed were driven by middle eastern men. The percentage went to almost 100% for trucks registered in Maine and California. Scares me to no end… Julie Skinner
