I turned on Bush when he decided to invade Iraq. There was simply no rationale for starting that war, and several experts told him that removing Hussein would accomplish nothing but keep Iraq in a permanent civil war among Islamic factions. Further, during his time in the White House when Republicans controlled both Houses, the national continued to sharply increase. Finally, DHS never achieved the primary 2 objectives for which it was created: central coordinated intelligence agencies, including the FBI, and controlling our borders against illegal aliens.
