Small Plane Crashes Into Phoenix Backyard

Three people were injured when a small commuter plane crashed in the backyard of a north Phoenix neighborhood, damaging two homes. The FAA said the Piper PA-28 suffered a mechanical failure when it went down as it attempted to return to Deer Valley Airport around 7:20 a.m., according to AZFamily.
