If we only had a real AG who was on Trump’s side. If we only had an FBI head, Wray, that was on Trump’s side… Obviously Trump had to hire these people, I cannot believe that he cant just put someone in like Sydney Powell to actually do something. That is the cynical view, and probably the correct view. The political elite in this country, from either party, never seem to pay any substantial price for their underhanded dealings and crimes. It is a symptom of a failing, if not already failed Republic. The blame belongs to The People, as they became too stupid and kept putting the same imbeciles into office in election after election.

In Trump’s case, the explanation is simple — he hasn’t been in government for decades, so he didn’t have a big team around him when he took office. He didn’t have a huge list of people that had government experience that he could trust, so he had little choice but to hire people that looked okay, and then fire them when they don’t work out. I’m not ready to dump Barr just yet — he’s clearly a swamp dweller, but I think he’s an honorable swamp dweller and I’m not sure we can find anyone better. Wray should be fired as soon as the election is over, and I think Powell would be a great replacement, if she’s willing to do it.
The Deep State will never bend because all of them would go down. The only thing it fears is a Trump victory, which will force them to keep dancing. A Biden win means the coast is clear, business and crime as usual with no worries.

DOJ (the traitorous Swamper, Barr) is refusing to follow orders from POTUS cuz POTUS is elected by the people and has no power compared to their permanent unelected and unaccountable communist bureaucrat class that cannot be fired and REALLY run the country for their own enrichment, along with the corporate/multinational America hating “Leaders”, “stakeholders”, imported illegals (Omar), spooks, dirty cops, and media. They have been subverting, laughing at, lying to, and ignoring the elected representatives and population for yrs (look at Loverboy Strozk’s smirking, wriggling, slimy demeanor toward Congress when he spoke, so certain he cannot be touched for his treason, ditto the probable double agent Vindman). It appears that the bureaucrats/media/Deep State will only ALLOW dirty pols to even be elected now. The unelected administrative state parallel government needs seriously dismantled and limited, no lifelong job protections and rotating into fat corporate sinecures/contracts paid for with special privileges awarded by Deep State bureaucrat agents (Fauci is a prime example, apparent;ly now hugely wealthy after lifelong bureaucrat gov’t work. Barr appears to be another, by his refusal to do as ordered by POTUS, apparently following someone ELSE’S orders).
