Israeli strikes across Lebanon have left ruins, destruction, and damage to buildings and infrastructure. Israeli warplanes targeted the areas launching around 100 simultaneous airstrikes hitting Beirut and other southern parts of Lebanon. These attacks occurred despite the US-Iran ceasefire being in effect.
- Iran is taking aim at Israel as a fragile ceasefire is already beginning to show cracks. Tehran is blasting IDF strikes against Lebanon as a “flagrant violation” of the agreement and warning negotiations won’t matter if they continue. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian insists the regime “will never abandon” Lebanon just days before peace talks between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic are scheduled to take place.

Three points to watch out for: 1. If the U.S. keeps claiming that Lebanon was never part of the ceasefire deal, it means Netanyahu is calling the shots 2. If Iran doesn’t attack Israel as promised, then they abandoned Hezbollah, Lebanon is screwed, and Iran is much weaker than it seems 3.
