The USS Gerald R Ford Aircraft carrier, which is the world’s largest warship, was seen leaving Crete, Greece, on Thursday morning, as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue. This comes as the US has built up its military presence in the Middle East, with over a dozen warships, which has left the country in position for a “highly kinetic” campaign against Iran, a former senior Pentagon official has claimed.
