The EU failed to pass the trade deal they agreed to last year. So Trump just increased tariffs 25% on EU manufactured cars. The Germans (BMW, Mercedes, VW) are screaming at their govt. They are getting crushed in China and now about to get crushed in the USA also. German factories are already dealing with electricity prices that are 2x to 3x higher than China or the USA. Their manufacturing is not competitive and being forced to shut down. And at the same time China and USA markets are being closed off to them. The European Union is economically getting crushed right now. Energy prices are out of control and factories are not profitable.

The Socialists and Communists that control Germany have done their best to destroy Germany and their own people, just like our own Leftards in America move to destroy America.

And as far as I can tell most Europeans believe all their woes are Trumps fault. Why is Europe, throughout history always dragging itself into hell? Even their hatred of Russia is largely self inflicted. If Germany under Hitler would not have attacked Russia, the Eastern bloc of USSR would likely never have existed. Yet even now UK and EU saber rattle at Russia and tell their people to prepare for war with Russia. From Putin’s perspective, he believes them and frankly anyone with even a passing knowledge of European / Russian history understands his position is warranted. EU threatening Russia and continuing an endless war in Ukraine is the dumbest damn thing I can possibly imagine. Europe has no resources for war. They are friggin dependent upon Russia for NG and other resources for crying out loud. In short Europe is in a horrible mess due to gross incompetence, treason, greed and graft and such a complete lack of self awareness that they call the rest of the world stupid aggressors. Bottom line, Europe started the last two world wars, they can fight the next one on their own. I wish them luck, but the rest of the world should not have to sacrifice their young people on the alter of Europe’s ridiculous propensity for violence and folly. – Sean

The Chinese business model is dramatically more efficient than its European counterparts. China can manufacture a new vehicle or latest model dramatically quicker than their competitors. All the German Big 3 have factories in the US, in the southern states and as far as I know all are open shop. Expect to see more German cars made in the US, which is part of why Trump is doing tariffs.
