Europeans always say we pay higher taxes but are better off than Americans because of “free” healthcare. You are not, American households have higher net disposable income after healthcare spending. You pay absurd taxes and get a three-month wait for a specialist appointment.

- Exactly. Europe chose regulation over innovation, welfare over productivity, and climate virtue over energy security. The US builds AI infrastructure, China builds factories, and Europe builds compliance departments. The gap is accelerating.
- I was big advocate of German healthcare. I screamed everywhere that it is free free free. But few recent experiences changed my mind completely. It is fucking non-accessible. You want specialists appointment? Wait for six months and that too for some crap specialist. Why? Because most of good specialist will simply tell you that they are full and they don’t accept any new patients. CH
