Nancy and Chuck knew this from day one. This gives them control of the House and Executive branch then the Senate is nothing but one big cheat away. kamala can just get her payout and move on. If kamala is looking for someone else then it’s not going to happen for her Kamala has no say so on what Pelosi will mandate to her and Kamala has no influence over jack squat she’ll do as she is told.

It is my understanding that there is not an order of secession for Vice Presidents, only Presidents. A President can appoint anyone they like for Vice President as long as they meet the constitutional requirements.
