Yesterday evening, April 1, a reprehensible, brazen act of kidnapping took place at the Seventh-day Adventist Gospel Kreyòl Ministry Church located in Diquini, on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The kidnapping occurred during a worship service being livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube. Four people were taken captive as they led out in the service. Minutes before the kidnapping took place, according to an article in the Miami Herald, Pastor Estimé “was preaching about the power of God, telling the audience that ‘Satan has his limits,’ but ‘the power of God can reverse anything regardless of the situation.’” Please pray earnestly for these dear brothers who have been kidnapped, and that they will be returned without harm or difficult to their difficulty. Please pray for their families, and pray for the perpetrators, and for the country of Haiti. May the Lord intervene and reach the hearts of those who need to know Him. As we see such horrific acts taking place, it is a reminder that the Lord is coming soon. Let us continue to pray earnestly and do all we can to reach as many as possible for Him. Pastor Ted N.C. Wilson President of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church
