Karen Bass just bailed on a televised mayoral debate at the last second. Her team had already confirmed she’d show up for the Fox 11 forum on May 13, and then boom — she pulls out days before. Organizers straight up called it abrupt and disappointing. Her excuse? “We’ve moved past debates.” Give me a break. This is the same mayor whose city is still drowning in homelessness, whose fire response was a disaster, and who can’t seem to get crime under control. Now she doesn’t want to answer any more questions? LA voters deserve a mayor who shows up, not one who runs and hides when things get tough. This is weak.
