MASSIVE EBT & CHARITY FRAUD EXPOSED: Immigrants Are Openly Buying Food with Food Stamps and Collecting It from Charities, Then Shipping It Overseas to Sell for Profit In Lawrence, Massachusetts, a whistleblower revealed a welfare scam that the Dominican community has been running for over a decade. Here is how it works: Dominican immigrants buy food with EBT cards or take it for free from food banks. They then load it into shipping barrels and send it to the Dominican Republic, where it is sold for profit in local bodegas. We tracked the entire pipeline, from corner stores in Massachusetts to shipping hubs in New York to bodegas in Santo Domingo that are stocked with food paid for by the American taxpayer. We are prepared to share our findings with any legitimate investigative body.
- I saw this type of behavior over a decade ago in Minnesota. Everyday. Multiple times per day. ALWAYS dry goods and 10’s of 1000s of diapers. Occassionally, you would see 6 flatcars of dry goods with 1 or 2 gallons of milk. They claimed they were for daycares. Photos from 2015 – DS
- We Dominicans condem any welfare fraud. However I noticed in your video that you managed to show only 2 very poor people selling food sent by their families from the USA. 1. A poor grandma sell food in her house from left over Church dispensaries that their families gathered 2. Sold food from Foodstamp which is bad enough when you first see it, then you have to dig & see if its left over food from their family food stamps. I really thought i was going to see this mass scammers & really bad looking people and we end up seing a poor grandma & some guy. - No minimizing, the guy tried to do a Dominican hit piece but executed it very poorly, if you’re going to do a hit piece against a whole Hispanic community a least gather strong evidence & get really bad people but all we saw was words from 2 old people in DR that didn’t know how to explain themselves.
