In the United States, “lesbian” overtook “hentai” to become the number one search term. “Ebony” and “Latina” searches also grew ahead of “Asian”. 2022’s trending searches for the United States included “gamer girl” by +813% and “reverse cuckold” by +396%. Americans view the Ebony category the most often, but when compared to the rest of the world, they’re proportionately +143% more likely to watch Virtual Reality, +97% more into College videos and +64% more into Threesomes.
How about Great Britain? – – –
In 2022, “milf” overtook “lesbian” to become the #1 search in the United Kingdom. “Anal” searches increased in rank +2, and both “Asian” and “big ass” grew +4. “Ebony” related searches dropped by –8 positions, while “gangbang” grew +3. This year “British” searches come in 8th on the list.
The U.K.’s trending searches included a +376% increase for “naked wrestling” and +295% for “older woman”. Visitors tend to watch the Lesbian category the most, but compared to the rest of the world, U.K. visitors are +524% more likely to watch the British category, +99% more into Indian and +69% more into Anal videos.
How about France?
The top two searches in France remained “francaise” and “hentai”, while “milf”, “lesbienne”, “amateur francais” and “anal” all moved up into the Top 5. “poupee sexuelle” (sex doll) searches grew +363% and “real rencountre” (real encounter) by +225%. While Lesbian is the most viewed category in France, visitors are +798% more interested in French porn and +146% more into Anal than elsewhere in the world.
How about time searching for porn? Top 20 Countries by Traffic
Once again, the United States continues to be the country with the highest daily traffic to Pornhub, followed by the United Kingdom. In 2022, France moved +1 ahead of Japan, Mexico +1 ahead of Italy, and Germany +1 ahead of Canada. Egypt’s rank increased by +7 to join our Top 20 for the first time, and Belgium is back! It last made our Top 20 in 2017.
Collectively the Top 20 countries represent 79.3% of Pornhub’s daily traffic, so we will be looking more closely at them through this Year in Review.
