“They” is plural. Does she think she it talking about two different people? The word “he” is both a masculine and a neuter pronoun, so it would have been appropriate either way. Too bad we either stopped teaching English Grammar in schools, or let idiots like this graduate without learning even the most basic rules of grammar.
