If he comes out and directly endorses the Marxist Democrat looking to destroy America, Tucker will never be anything in politics in America, and we lose what little respect we have for him at this point. Read below -we fact checked – he HAS NOT endorsed yet, but the evidence that he will is damning.
What he actually did is still striking, and it’s why the claim is spreading:

“I wouldn’t vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint.”
Called Rogers a “tool of Israel and the intelligence agencies.”
Called El-Sayed’s campaign “literally Trumpian.”
Friday newsletter (Sept. 11, the one in the second DSA_Watch post):
He defended El-Sayed’s 2021 comments that after 9/11 “what we did… scarred millions of other people” and that Americans “fail to center them.” Carlson wrote there is “nothing remotely crazy” about those remarks and that El-Sayed “is obviously right.” He then turned on Rogers, said Rogers is the one unfit for office, and closed with: “We hope the good people of Michigan keep this man far away from Washington.”
That’s a functional/de facto preference for the Democrat over the Republican in that race. Multiple outlets described it as “all but,” “practically,” or “effectively” an endorsement. He stopped short of the explicit words.
Context on the candidates
Abdul El-Sayed: Progressive Democrat, Bernie/AOC-backed Michigan Senate nominee. Supports Medicare for All, a wealth tax, ending U.S. aid to Israel. He has spoken at multiple DSA events and been called a “longtime friend of Detroit DSA,” though he publicly rejects the socialist label and says he believes in regulated capitalism. Critics call him far-left / DSA-adjacent.
Mike Rogers: Trump-endorsed Republican, former House Intelligence Committee chair, strongly pro-Israel. That’s the core of Tucker’s objection after his break with the GOP over the Iran war and “neocon” foreign policy.
Tucker’s move tracks his recent pattern: he has said he’s “out” of the Republican Party, won’t support it, and has been willing to defend or platform figures (Mamdani earlier, now El-Sayed) when the issue is Israel/wars/AIPAC rather than domestic left-wing economics. He has not become a Democrat or embraced El-Sayed’s broader platform.
