Stealing at will has become the new norm. Parking your late model Audi in the disabled spot and act of priviledged. It must be a cozy sensation of being above the law and not giving a darned about consequences to family owned businesses.
The desperately poor folks where I now live would be repulsed by this behavior, and then again they have great pride in what little they do possess.
We see ugly Americans at work here. (And at least one good security officer).
