I think far too many pro-Second Amendment people watch these kinds of videos, where some gun hating tyrannical liberal will be asked this question – please tell me how you define what an ‘assault weapon’ is, and the liberal will immediately start beating around the bush, and lapse into a bewildering and confusing degree of mealy mouthing platitudes that make it appear that liberals are just stupid with regards to understanding firearms and that is why they seldom can provide a detailed response.
I do not believe that theory. I am convinced that the reason why gun hating liberals always come across as being evasive and try so hard to not let themselves get pinned down to a specific definition of what they consider to be an ‘assault weapon’ – is because of two reasons. First, in the case of this Chipman guy, he hopes he can finesse his way into being approved for the ATF job. And, secondly – liberals deliberately avoid giving a straight answer, because in the back of their evil brains – what they intend to do if elected to office or if appointed to a position such as head of the ATF – is to expand the definition of ‘assault weapons’ to include thousands of firearms that are commonly owned and used by law abiding American citizens. That is why they all follow the same Communist technique of being deliberately vague.
It’s like they think they are playing a game of poker and are trying to not tip off their
opponents as to what’s in their hands.
