It’s a long-shot, but a Tsunami emanating from a massive flank failure on La Palma could be big enough to flush the “swamp” out of DC. The collateral damage would be unfortunate, but probably well worth it. We could start all over again without a civil war.

It would also take out New York City & all of Long Island, Boston .. the entire eastern seaboard. This would completely change the balance of power in the US.
