Remember when John McCain was hailed by the Democrats for being a “maverick” because he often voted against his own party? Well, now that Joe Manchin (and Kyrsten Sinema) are opposing the $3.5 trillion Reconciliation Bill, the Democrats are most definitely NOT calling him a maverick. Instead they are calling him a lot of other unfriendly names as Manchin Derangement Syndrome goes red hot.

Dear Joe, Thank you for putting the people of W.Virginia and America ahead
of loyalty to your party. I am not from W.Virginia but my dear departed daddy used to mine coal there. I cant imagine the pressure you are facing to just go along. The integrity required to do what you feel is right for W.Virgina and America is impressive. Im not from W.Virgina but I was a hippie there for a while so I know the people well. Me and my friends were tired and hungry. Lazy shiftless unproductive hippies were always hungry in those days. On a lonely backwoods dirt road an old lady waved us down from her porch. You boys hungry she yelled. Yes maam we replied, as we approached her porch she handed us two axes and pointed to the woodpile, My friend Marcus took the ax from her and handed Gary the other one. Marcus grew up in Texas and as such was well versed on the use of an Ax. Well we chopped and chopped and chopped. We washed up as instructed and went into the house. No one had eaten very much in the last few days. It was a ginormous meat loaf and mountains of mashed potatoes and a big bowl of brown gravy. loaves of sliced wheat bread. Well they are wonderful down to earth loving hard working people. I am not from W. Virginia but if I was I would be proud to tell people.
