I can’t help but note how Pres. Trump’s not jumping on the bandwagon to give unqualified assent to what Bob Woodward wrote about Milley. Making the point that even where it’s politically favourable to him, Trump still considers Woodward to be dishonest enough that he can’t wholly accept the truth of this story without further confirmation. Ouch!
Trump is exactly right. It would be incredible for Milley to engage in the behavior claimed. IF he did, it would definitely be treason to conspire to warn an opponent in advance of an attack from the US. And given the fact that Trump made his mark in getting out of useless foreign wars (causing neocons to hate him), the idea that Trump would start a war in order to foment a coup is absurd. Indeed, the idiot lefties claim the Jan 6 demonstration was an insurrection yet the FBI after turning over every stone and desperately looking for evidence of an insurrection found none – making the people held in solitary for months for no good reason other than at most a tresspass into political prisoners.
