- After listening to this a couple of times I understand what Scott Bessent is saying. He’s talking about how the American middle class was sold a bill of goods with the globalization of manufacturing. Americans were told by the globalists that exporting manufacturing jobs would mean they would pay less for their gadgets. Which was true. What they weren’t told is that it would cost them their dignified way of life. Uncle Ray
- Yes, come on American creators turn on your industrial design lightbulbs, we have so much to own. Cars – our neighbors are craving drivable cute cars that are not throwback designs or a pickup. Kitchen appliances – we can do so much better than the junky laundries, stoves and fridges that look like the 1950s, the only things out there right now. Trains – it’s a tragedy we don’t have a proper train network here. Go for it. Cities – think what people do here, how they live, how can they be centers of work, relaxation and beauty. Hold back developers unless their ideas meet our values. Schools and community buildings – they cost us a lot of money, they need to be centers of connection not places just sitting empty. Farms equal neighborhoods and nature living more sustainably – See the urban floating farm, the bird guru and the IT innovations that make farms more efficient. These genius nuggets in Clarkson’s Farm 5 are mind blowing but doable. Like I say, so much to think about, it’s awesome!!! – Eurosage
- America has been dying a slow death. America needs to come first. Trump and his cabinet are aligned on that. Nationalism is appropriate for this time in our history in order to save America. Every leader in every country acts in its own interests. We should too.
