3 years ago the gold-backed BRICS was a real threat. Then it shriveled to a dorky currency basket. Now it’s a joke. Perhaps it is time to accept Russia into alliance with the West, as this is what Putin and Trump want, as each know the Dragon rises in the East and Putin’s Russia is actually eyed for territory that the Czars took from China. Think on this, China is just a year away from achieving MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) with any Superpower that were to go to war with them.  This is about to make the world safe for conventional war, with drones, robots and like 100 million extra Chinese males born from their one child policy in the past. Russia must be made an ally of the West if not part of NATO in the coming few years. Time to end that damn war in Ukraine.

• I don’t think so. BRICS just launched a blockchain currency that’s 40% gold backed/40% a basket of currencies & a real-time wire payment system. It’s in early launch but they’re light years ahead of us with the financial infrastructure of the future. They just need US for trade.
• Clearly the last word hasn’t been spoken yet. Maybe it is just a negotiation chip in the peace deals. If there was ANYTHING believable in that story, Gold would have crashed 20%.
