The Islamic State terror group released video of what it said was its overnight attack on Niger’s international airport, in which explosions and gunfire ring out as people are seen running. Satellite imagery was also released revealing before and after images of the damage done to the Niamey Airport and military bases in the attack. According to Reuters, three commercial aircraft were damaged and security has since been reinforced in the area. Security sources told the outlet that a store of uranium held at the airport had not been affected by the attack.
