  • Rep. Omar’s tweet also arrives in the wake of the Senate runoff elections in Georgia, which appear to have ended up putting Democrats in control of the U.S. Senate, according to Breitbart.
  • Last year, President Trump was cleared by the U.S. Senate of all charges in his impeachment trial.
  • The recording of a phone call President Trump made with a Georgia official reveals that he requested that GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger fully investigates allegations of voter fraud in his state.
  • Omar cited the U.S. Constitution, claiming it does not “make exceptions” for individuals based on the amount of time they had left in office.
  • “The President and his collaborators become more emboldened when they are not held accountable for their crimes,” Rep. Omar alleged on Twitter.

  • She said: “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve the U.S. Department of Transportation” but she is “deeply troubled” by the events of yesterday “in a way that I simply cannot set aside.”
  • The secretary’s statement confirms that she will assist with the transition of her success.
  • Chao’s resignation will take effect on Monday.
  • The announced successor is Peter Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, who was a breakout star in he 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s communications director asked Twitter to bar users from sharing one of the New York congresswoman’s previous tweets in support of protests.
  • AOC posted the Twitter thread in question just a month before a mob stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, claiming that “protest demands that make others uncomfortable” are “the point.”
  • Despite the communications director’s insistence that the tweet was taken out of context by “right-wing accounts”.
  • AOC has a track record of backing destructive rioting in support of progressive causes as she sees fit.
  • In August, the “Squad” member told a New York radio station that some groups, including marginalized communities, have “no choice but to riot” against injustices.
  • AOC also delayed condemning an Antifa attack on an Immigration.
  • Hours after word of her silence on the issue spread, Ocasio-Cortez told the Daily Caller that “any act of violence is of course terrible.”

  • The United States Military Academy cited a number of athletes for cheating on a spring 2020 calculus exam on November 30.
  • But university officials suspended its own rules to allow football players to play in games this season.
  • The public military university has a rule against violators of its honor code from representing the university.
  • Christopher Ophardt, West Point spokesperson, told USA Today that they delayed it [the rule] until final adjudication.
  • Williams made the decision to allow the football players to take the field, according to USA Today.
  • After being asked for the number of athletes who have been under investigation for an academic violation and how many have received disciplinary action in response,he did not respond to two emailed requests for comment in the past week.
  • It is not the first time that athletes have received special privileges. In 2016, defensive back Brandon Jackson became intoxicated after a game against Rice University.
  • Jackson attempted to drive his car while intoxicated.
  • “It’s not about honor. It’s about whatever it takes to win,” an unnamed West Point official told the Daily Beast in 2017.

  • A woman wrongly accused a 14-year-old black teenager of stealing her iPhone. Later it turned out, she left her phone in a cab.
  • It took place in a Soho Hotel so the media called her Soho Karen since they didn’t know her name.
  • Her lawyer justified she was “scared” and anxious, rather than racist.
  • A reporter tracked her down to Los Angeles and asked her why she did it. She said “because I’m 22,” adding she’s Puerto Rican. Her name is Miya Ponsetto. The cancel culture uncovered her identity from social media.
  • Ponsetto chased the boy and apparently tried to tackle him.
  • New York City prosecutors are going to prosecute this young woman but won’t prosecute criminals who loot, set fires, destroy businesses.
