  • On Friday, the NRA posted a tweet that showed Biden saying he will “ban magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them” and that doing so does not violate the second amendment.
  • His website states that his administration will “pursue constitutional, common-sense gun safety policies.”
  • The plan addresses a litany of issues by closing loopholes, promoting new gun safety legislation, and seeks to reverse multiple policies and regulations that President Trump put in place during his administration.
  • Some of his legislation and policy will be based on the lobbying that Gabby Giffords has led on gun control.Former Republican Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords has been an avid gun control activist since she suffered a brain injury in an assassination attempt while speaking with constituents in a parking lot in Tucson in January of 2011.
  • Highlights of the plan are:
    • Ending the sale of firearms, ammunition, kits on the internet. Indicates that he will take executive actions to close loopholes, “including narrowing the so-called “gun show loophole,”
    • increasing the number of records in the background check system, and expanding funding for mental health services and enacting universal background check legislation.
    • Seeking to ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
    • Regulating the use of 3-D printers for gun production.
    • Government buyback program, giving individuals the option to sell their weapons or register them under the National Firearms Act.
    • Limit stockpiling of weapons. Reinstate the Obama-Biden policy “to keep guns out of the hands of certain people unable to manage their affairs for mental reasons, which President Trump reversed.”
  • The fundamental right to keep and bear arms is a cherished constitutional liberty by many. The risk is that leaders and courts will deliver subjectively prejudicial judgments of an individual’s actions that result unjustly in a pejoratively, life-altering course.

On Friday, the NRA posted a tweet

  • Harvard Kennedy School Dean Douglas Elmendorf today announced Rep. Elise Stefanik would be removed from a school political science advisory board Claiming she had made public assertions about voter fraud in November’s presidential election “that have no basis in evidence”.
  • “Moreover, these assertions and statements do not reflect policy disagreements but bear on the foundations of the electoral process through which this country’s leaders are chosen,” Elmendorf said in a letter released Tuesday.
  • “In my conversation with Elise, she declined to step aside, and I told her that I would therefore remove her from the Institute of Politics’ Senior Advisory Committee at this time,” Elmendorf wrote.
  • A week ago, Stefanik, a Harvard graduate herself, noted she would be objecting to certification of the electoral college in Congress on Wednesday.
  • That same day, the Capitol was overtaken by rioters attempting to have the results of the election overturned and President Donald Trump declared the winner.
  • After the Capitol was cleared, Stefanik was one of 147 House Republicans that voted against certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory.
  • “The decision by Harvard’s administration to cower and cave to the woke Left will continue to erode diversity of thought, public discourse, and ultimately the student experience,” Stefanik said in a statement on Tuesday.
  • After her vote against election certification, a petition was circulated calling for Stefanik to be removed from the Harvard board, claiming Stefanik’s actions “undermined democracy and the Constitution” by “improperly challenging” the 2020 election results.
  • At the same time, Harvard Government professor Ryan D. Enos has urged the school to adopt “minimum standards” for affiliation with Harvard that “include supporting free elections and not encouraging violence.”
  • Bacow has also received a letter from Kennedy School student Diego A. Garcia Blum urging the school to adopt “accountability guidelines” for welcoming officials who served in the Trump administration.
  • The letter has been signed by over 300 individuals affiliated with Harvard.

Some people say that Trump has them right where they want them, others say Trump is about to enact the Insurrection Act, others claim he already has. Others yet claim that on Inauguration Day most of the Swamp creatures will be in one place and that is when Trump will use the military to arrest the traitors. I know you probably do not want to heat this, but I do not think that is going to happen. I have a feeling Trump is most concerned with how he is going to survive his attempt to save this nation from the grips of globalist and the CCP. Trump poked the red, communist, bear and the bear swatted back., with the help of the Democrat Party the the globalist corporations. Now, Trump is back in the spotlight and making his moves.

  • Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) has announced she has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • However, the House lawmaker has alleged, without evidence, that she contracted the Chinese virus because her Republican colleagues refused to wear masks.
  • Jayapal took to Twitter early Tuesday to announce that she has been diagnosed with the coronavirus and to blame GOP reps and President Donald Trump (of course) for her condition.
  • She excoriated several Republicans locked down with her during last week’s riot at the U.S. Capitol who did not wear masks.
  • Rep. Jayapal claimed that she was “locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one.”
  • Her office issued a statement that said some members and staff were informed by Dr. Brian Monahan, the attending physician of the U.S. Congress, that those secured in that particular room had been exposed to “another occupant with coronavirus infection.”
  • She said,” Only hours after Trump incited a deadly assault on our Capitol, many Republicans still refused to take the bare minimum COVID-19 precaution and simply wear a damn mask in a crowded room during a pandemic—creating a superspreader event ON TOP of a domestic terrorist attack.”
  • Adding, “Any Member who refuses to wear a mask should be fully held accountable for endangering our lives because of their selfish idiocy. I’m calling for every single Member who refuses to wear a mask in the Capitol to be fined and removed from the floor by the Sergeant at Arms.”
  • “I will not rest until I do everything in my power to remove this President from office,” Jayapal concluded.
  • She said she is isolating but will continue to work to the best of her ability.

  • Hospitals across the US are being inundated with COVID-19 patients, as the number of people admitted to intensive care units reaches alarming levels, new data shows.
  • There were 129,748 people being cared for at hospitals for the virus Monday, according to the COVID Tracking Project.
  • It marked the 41st consecutive day that COVID-19 hospitalizations had topped 100,000.
  • The online tracker pinpointed hospitalization hot spots across the country.
  • These record hospitalization levels are not evenly distributed: As hospitalizations in the Midwest and Mountain West have continued to fall, they have risen in California and across the entire US South,” the project said.
  • Maps showed that numerous regions — particularly in Southern California and Arizona — have COVID-19 patients occupying more than 45 percent of their ICUs.
  • Hospitalizations in the Golden State have climbed to concerning levels with more than 22,633 coronavirus patients, of whom around 4,971 are in the ICU, the data shows.
  • The COVID Tracking Project said Arizona’s “hospitalizations have far exceeded the state’s summer surge, and continue to grow each day.”
  • The Grand Canyon State has around 4,997 people hospitalized for the virus with about 1,158 in the ICU, according to the data.
  • The concerning figures come as the country recorded 1,739 virus-related deaths and more than 194,000 new infections, the data shows.

  • Officials say California’s popular Squaw Valley Ski Resort will change its name because the word “squaw” is a derogatory term for Native American women, ABC News reported.
  • Squaw means American Indian woman or wife. How is that offensive? The resort officials claim it’s derogatory.
  • Certainly, no one who uses it in relation to the resort means it in a derogatory manner?
  • The decision was reached after consulting with local Native American groups and extensive research into the etymology and history of the term “squaw,” said Ron Cohen, president, and COO of Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows.
  • They claim the word morphed into a misogynist and racist term to disparage Indigenous women.
  • If you have to do that much research to find out if it is derogatory, do you really need to change it?
  • Work to find a new name will start immediately and is expected to be announced next year, he said.
