The Late Royce Williams Receives Navy Cross for Heroic Actions During Korean War

Royce Williams, a 97-year-old former Navy aviator was awarded the Navy Cross, the second highest military honor in the service, in a ceremony in California last week. It was over 50 years ago that he shot down four Soviet fighters during the Korean War, but no one heard about it until recently.
