Engagement Roast Chicken Recipe courtesy of Ina Garten Total: 1 hr 40 min Prep: 5 min Cook: 1 hr 35 min Yield: 3 servings Level: Intermediate Ingredients 1 (4 to 5 pound) roasting chicken Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 lemons 1 whole head garlic, cut in 1/2 crosswise Good olive oil 2 Spanish onions, peeled and thickly sliced 1/2 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup chicken stock, preferably homemade 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour Directions Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Remove and discard the chicken giblets. Pat the outside dry. Liberally salt and pepper the inside of the chicken.
Cut the lemons in quarters, place 2 quarters in the chicken along with the garlic and reserve the rest of the lemons. Brush the outside of the chicken with olive oil and sprinkle the chicken liberally with salt and pepper. Tie the legs together with kitchen string and tuck the wing tips under the body of the chicken. Place the chicken in a small (11 by 14-inch) roasting pan. (If the pan is too large, the onions will burn.) Place the reserved lemons and the sliced onions in a large bowl and toss with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Pour the mixture around the chicken in the pan. Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, until the juices run clear when you cut between a leg and a thigh. Remove the chicken to a platter, cover with aluminum foil, and allow to rest for 10 minutes while you prepare the sauce, leaving the lemons and onions in the pan. Place the pan on top of the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Add the wine and stir with a wooden spoon to scrape up the brown bits. Add the stock and sprinkle on the flour, stirring constantly for a minute, until the sauce thickens. Add any juices that collect under the chicken. Carve the chicken onto a platter and serve with the lemons, onions, and warm sauce.

While He Was President. Now his White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler ‘s Epstein Ties Are Being Exposed..
Q: Why is nobody asking Obama why he didn’t you do something about Jeffrey Epstein? Rep. Tim Burchett: “Because President Obama was created… He is not organic. You pick this obscure guy from college who has zero records… college professors that don’t remember him ever being there and he runs and all of a sudden people drop out of races and he is unopposed. He goes from a State Senator to U.S. Senator to an unknown to being President of The United States because he was created.”

Marines picked the Red Wolf launched effect for their PASM program, and with it comes over 230 miles of range with a roughly $300,000 price tag. This relatively cheap munition gives Marine helicopters like the AH-1Z Viper true over-the-horizon targeting capability, something that will come in handy in the event of a Pacific fight. In this video, we talk about the Red Wolf and what it can do, how it compares to other helicopter-launched munitions, and how this changes things for modern combat.

Your mitochondria are the power plants of your cells, and when they break down, you lose energy, brain sharpness, and resilience against aging. In this episode, you’ll learn how to hack your mitochondria to supercharge human performance, prevent decline, and extend longevity with tools that are natural, effective, and backed by decades of research. Listen to the FULL-LENGTH version of this episode on your favorite audio platform: -Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast… -Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2mkB9Oo… Host Dave Asprey sits down with Catharine Arnston, founder of ENERGYbits, recent PhD graduate, and one of the world’s top experts on algae and functional medicine. Entering her 70th year without medications, with the cognition to finish a doctorate, and the health markers of someone decades younger, Catharine is living proof of how mitochondria and nutrition shape aging, brain optimization, and resilience. Together they break down why mitochondria fail after age 30, how algae works as a master supplement to restore superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione, and what happens when you give your cells the nutrients they’re wired to need. They uncover how mitochondria connect to energy, inflammation, metabolism, and cellular resilience. This is a masterclass in hacking energy and longevity, built for people who want to upgrade every system of the body and mind. You’ll learn: • Why mitochondria decline after age 30 and how to stop it • The role of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione in preventing cellular “rust” • How spirulina and chlorella outperform most supplements for detox and energy • The connection between mitochondria and brain optimization • Why men’s higher iron levels accelerate aging and how algae helps balance it • How to build a mitochondria-first biohacking stack that actually works This is essential listening for fans of biohacking, hacking human performance, functional medicine, and longevity who want actionable tools from Host Dave Asprey and a guest who embodies what it means to age with energy, clarity, and vitality. Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. With over 1,000 interviews and 1 million monthly listeners, The Human Upgrade brings you the knowledge to take control of your biology, extend your longevity, and optimize every system in your body and mind. Each episode delivers cutting-edge insights in health, performance, neuroscience, supplements, nutrition, biohacking, emotional intelligence, and conscious living. New episodes are released every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (audio-only), and Sunday (BONUS). Dave asks the questions no one else will and gives you real tools to become stronger, smarter, and more resilient. Most people expect strength, energy, and resilience to decline with age. This episode shows why that assumption is wrong, and how you can be stronger, sharper, and more metabolically resilient at 50 than you were at 30. You’ll learn why muscle is the primary driver of healthy aging, how strength training and protein rebuild metabolism over time, and why focusing on muscle span matters more than chasing weight loss or body fat percentage. Host Dave Asprey sits down with Gabrielle Lyon, an accomplished physician and New York Times bestselling author of Forever Strong: A New, Science-Based Strategy for Aging Well, and author of the upcoming The Forever Strong Playbook, releasing January 27, 2026. Dr. Lyon pioneered the Muscle-Centric Medicine® approach, which places skeletal muscle at the center of disease prevention, metabolic health, and long-term vitality. Her work spans elite athletes, military operatives, and everyday people who want to age with strength rather than fragility. Together, they break down why intermuscular fat may matter more than body fat percentage, how skeletal muscle improves insulin sensitivity and lowers inflammation, and why becoming physically stronger supports brain function and neuroplasticity over time. They explore how protein needs change with age, how fasting and ketosis fit into a muscle-first framework, and when carnivore-style nutrition, supplements, and sleep optimization support recovery instead of undermining it. The conversation also tackles GLP-1 drugs and muscle loss, mindset and emotional regulation, hormesis, and why building physical resilience leads to clearer decision-making in a world shaped by AI, convenience, and chronic stress. You’ll Learn: • Why it is possible to be stronger at 50 than you were at 30 • How muscle protects metabolism, brain health, and long-term resilience • Why intermuscular fat matters more than body fat percentage as you age • How strength training supports neuroplasticity and emotional regulation • Why protein needs increase with age and how outdated limits slow progress • How GLP-1 drugs affect muscle span and how to reduce long-term risk • Why progressive stimulus beats lifting heavy for sustainable strength • How sleep optimization and recovery preserve mitochondria and performance Dave Asprey is a four time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. With over 1,000 interviews and 1 million monthly listeners, The Human Upgrade is the top podcast for people who want to take control of their biology, extend their longevity, and optimize every system in the body and mind. Each episode features cutting edge insights in health, performance, neuroscience, supplements, nutrition, hacking, emotional intelligence, and conscious living.
