His primary “accomplishment” was to basically sell out the residents of El Segundo Barrio in that city by supporting a plan that would displace the residents so that his billionaire father-in-law, Bill Sanders, could redevelop the area. Here we see residents of El Segundo Barrio expressing anger at the prospect of losing their homes so Beto’s father-in-law could go ahead with this development project. Oh, and they had Beto pegged right as a lackey willing to do the bidding of his father-in-law.
