Liberal Senator James McGrath says NSW Health limiting the amount of alcohol residents in an apartment block drink is the “most un-Australian thing” to happen this week. “Of the many un-Australian things that have happened this week, this is the most un-Australian thing,” Mr McGrath told Sky News host Cory Bernardi. “Alcohol is actually the only thing getting some people through COVID. “And to have bureaucrats sniffing through people’s shopping trollies, to find out whether they’ve got, you know, two bottles of Jacob’s Creek instead of one bottle of Jacob’s Creek, is just simply outrageous. “I think the bureaucrats should stop worrying about what’s in people’s shopping trollies, and start worrying about how we’re going to get our freedoms back.”
